can anyone tell me the price without the contract?
Don’t get Pay as you go, Better on contract. I don’t think internet is free when you buy the full price.
I have insurance on it. I was just wondering if i would get the iphone 4 or another iphone 3gs. I would prefer to get another 3gs.
They will most likely give you a refurbished iPhone 3gs, depending on the condition, but sometimes, they will give you a brand new iPhone 4.
It is both. Either way, it fails.
I would choose an Android phone any day because on the iPhone:
-cant take out the battery
-no removable memory
-only Apple-approved apps
-cant customize your phone AT ALL
-doesnt work with Windows
-no Flash support
-no widgets
-cant transfer ANY files from a computer
-Android phones have better cameras
-Android phones have faster processors
-instant Android OTA software updates
-cant get service in an ATT store- have to find an Apple store
-works on ATTs horrible network
Android is miles ahead of Apple- with the new 4.0 software, Apple is only now letting people do things like add folders to their home screen and multitask, because GOD FORBID that anyone should be able to do that on their cell phone- OH NO!!! Oh, Android has been able to do both of those things ever since it came out. Android is already selling more phones than Apple, and its only been out for a year and a half. By the end of the year, the Market will have 100,000 apps, which is more than the Apple Store had at its 2-year mark. Android’s open-source nature will always be more appealing to devs and phone manufacturers because they can market to every carrier, and dozens of phones, instead of 1 carrier and 1 phone. The possibilities are literally endless as far as Android is concerned, because ANYONE can make an app to do ANYTHING on the phone. With Apple, they have to approve every single app that goes into the Store. They wont even allow an app in if it says the word Android in it anywhere- how far do you really think they’re gonna go with that kind of closed-minded thinking?? I want to decide what goes on my phone, not the other way around
I really want to know what’s going to happen tomorrow. Will anybody be streaming it live online? on TV?
Engadget will be at the Press Event and will be streaming Live updates and Photos
Here’s where you can follow them

I only ask because i would rather go to the store myself than to pre order it. unless the online sale to California is tax free from apple.com then i would get it from apple.com. is it tax free online? and at the stores im not waiting in line with the rest of the fan boys, i’ll probably go after an hour of release.
@flyers20
"yea it is" what? going to be sold on release day in stores?
Has apple ever sold out of anything on release day?
If there is enough demand for it, then why not… Of course it could be sold out on the release day. If you are so concerned, then pre-order it…
Some people say they are scams. Some people say there legit. Can i really get an iPhone for free? If yes, how can i be sure that i’ll be safe?
You can be sure by not believing them there is no free iPhone 4.
des anyone have an iPhone? is it worth it? can i put it on verizon? how much do you pay a month on what service? thanks!
if it’s about $50-$90 a month does that include everyday use of internet? of do they charge extra?
the iPhone is only available from AT&T… no phone from AT&T will work with Verizon. If you want a Verizon form of the iPhone go with the Voyager. Go to MacWorld.com to read reviews on the iPhone, its to much to write
