For our second video blog, we did a comparison of Samsung’s Android-powered Galaxy S II and the newly launched white version of the Apple iPhone 4. The Galaxy S II’s dual-core processor and Super AMOLED screen set new standards in terms of speed and color clarity. However, although the iPhone 4 is based on older hardware, it is still able to hold its own in a number of areas. The phone you decide on will ultimately be based on your needs and personal taste. Head-Coupled Perspective on Mobile Devices. We track the head of the user with the front facing camera in order to create a glasses-free monocular 3D display. Such spatially-aware mobile display enables to improve the possibilities of interaction.
It does not use the accelerometers and relies only on the front camera.
The demo with the targets has been inspired by the work of Johnny Lee ( http://youtu.be/Jd3-eiid-Uw ) with a Wii remote.
